the fusion of AI and retail eCommerce for an historic university

MARKETING DIRECTION    |    2021 - 2025

Emory University is a top 25 American university with a tradition of excellence. The non-credit unit, Emory Continuing Education, was evolving but lacked presence and recognition in the marketplace. Its brand image was also affected by a history of now discontinued learning titles. A new marketing strategy included a relaunched website, new social channels, a new blog and editorial strategy, as well as offline support components and media kits. AI-boosted marketing workflow, ideation and asset creation were added in 2023.

MARKETING DIRECTION    |    2017 - 2020

Accela is a leading provider of software solutions for local governments, offering an online means for transactions like permitting, licensing, and more. While keeping the legacy logo, all other aspects of the brand were redesigned and relaunched, codifying a visual system than is still in use today. A website UX that organized the many products effectively, and a new collateral system, were principal activities. Explainer videos which clarified software products and stacks improved the sales process. A standout component was the annual design and direction of the Accelarate customer event.

BRAND & CREATIVE DIRECTION    |    2016 - 2017

Singularity University has a mission to impart the latest knowledge of significant technology trends and disruptions to both organizations and individuals. They also train in "moonshot thinking," a mindset common among innovators in Silicon Valley. Creating a new brand that embodied all this was quite a challenge! The results were both striking and symbolic of the activities at this organization. Beyond the logo, a new visual system conveyed themes of radical innovation. While Singularity University's brand visuals have since evolved, it was an honor to be part of this organization's history and success.
