Sales events and their corresponding marketing campaigns require strong executions to draw traffic in today's noisy online spaces. Between 2021-2025, multiple event brands were created for Emory Continuing Education that generated significant revenue growth through program registrations. More recently, AI-boosted visual assets were introduced to create highly distinctive event brands. Our leadership's previous experience with Macy's retail advertising contributed to the success, as retail marketing approaches were used for Emory's online courses.

AI-boosted social campaigns

The i/o team now uses AI tools extensively for social campaign creation. These tools allow not only for the accelerated creation of standout videos, illustrations, and synthetic photography, but also rapid copy creation and versioning per channel.

For The Living Abroad Academy, sales campaigns have relied largely on synthetic AI video and photography for campaigns to drive enrollments in online learning and podcast downloads. For Emory University, synthetic videos, photos and AI illustrations have been used since 2024 in program-specific social campaigns.

Video is a new frontier for AI and the possibilities are increasing almost daily. The i/o team has applied AI to create short videos used principally for advertising in digital channels. Customers have included both Emory University and The Living Abroad Academy. The creation times for these assets have been significantly reduced from the traditional process, with as little as 2 days being required from original concept to final asset. AI-boosted tools also provide rapid versioning to vary content, length, and aspect ratios.

AI-boosted email campaigns

The process for creating an effective email campaign requires a set of steps from strategy to concept to deployment. At i/o, we have generally retained the legacy process but with significant acceleration in the steps. Despite time optimizations, our new tools are allowing for more ideation and better assets, and thus better campaigns and results. Thanks to the latest, AI-boosted tools, it's possible to expand the volume of assets like these with the same or smaller teams.
