Between 2021-2025, multiple event brands were created for Emory Continuing Education that generated significant revenue through program registrations. Starting in late 2023, the creation of event marketing platforms was digitally transformed by our team. AI-generated content and visual assets were introduced to create unique event brands, to introduce social video assets, and to cut overall deployment time by 60%. Our team's previous experience with retail advertising contributed to the success. AI tools not only trimmed costs, but powered event campaigns to market faster, with a larger set of assets.

AI-boosted social campaigns

The idea ovation team uses AI tools extensively for social campaign creation. These tools allow not only for the accelerated creation of standout videos, illustrations, and synthetic photography, but also rapid copy creation and versioning per channel. New AI-based processes have cut campaign creation time, start to finish, by 75%. At Emory University, campaigns went from concept to live in multiple channels often within the same day, including posts that included AI-generated video, image, and copy. YouTube pre-roll was generated without previous, costly outside video editors, with production time dropping from two weeks to 2-3 days and creation costs dropping by 80%.

For The Living Abroad Academy, sales campaigns have relied largely on synthetic AI video and photography to allow quick for pivots due to market trends and to drive traffic to online learning and podcasts. Shifting away from stock video and photos resulted in 60% production savings.

Video is a new frontier for AI and the possibilities are increasing almost daily. The idea ovation team has applied AI to create short videos used principally for advertising in digital channels. Customers have included both Emory University and The Living Abroad Academy. Creation times for these assets have been significantly reduced from the traditional process, with as little as 4 hours being required from original concept to final asset, a process that was previously measured in weeks. AI-boosted tools have also allowed for rapid versioning to vary content, length, and aspect ratios for different channels.

The process for creating an effective email campaign requires a set of steps from strategy to concept to deployment. At idea ovation, we have generally retained the legacy process, but with significant acceleration in the steps using AI tools. Beyond time optimizations, new tools are allowing for more initial ideation and better assets, and thus better campaigns and results. Thanks to the latest, AI-boosted tools, it's possible to expand the volume of assets like these with the same or smaller teams. More recently, AI tools are being added to enhance customer segmentation and to generate predictive analytics in advance of campaign creation.
